Philly Cheese Chicken

Ingredients
  

Base

  • 1 chicken breast cut into cubes
  • 1/2 onion cut into slices
  • 1.2 bell pepper cut into slices
  • 2 subway buns
  • 4 slices white cheddar/ cheese of your choice
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp pickled banana peppers

Spice Mix

  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlicpowderr
  • 1 tsp chicken bouyon seasoning can use any seasoning of choice
  • salt according to taste
  • 2 tsp pepper

Instructions
 

  • Marinate the chicken with oil and spices for at least 30 minutes.
  • In a pan sauté the chicken on medium-high until it is fully cooked (about 20 minutes). Cover it with a lid for even cooking and stir occasionally.
  • Take the chicken out and in the same pan lightly sauté all the veggies for about 5 minutes season it with salt, pepper, and paprika and mix well.
  • Now add the chicken to the pan with barbecue sauce and mix well. Do a taste test and adjust spices.
  • Turn off the heat and add 4 to 5 slices of cheese and cover the pan for a nice melt. Get your buns toasted in the meanwhile.
  • Start with mayo on the bread with a scoop of chicken and veggies. Try to keep the cheese on top. Add banana peppers and any additional toppings of your choice.
  • Close the bun cut it into two pieces and you are ready. Serve it with a side of fries and some ketchup.
