Sautéd Shrimp

A quick savory seafood dish that you can eat as an appetizer or as a side of protein for your meal.

Ingredients
  

Base

  • 10 shrimps peeled and deveined can use frozen
  • 4 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp butter

Spice Mix

  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp  Cajun mix or any spice mix of your choice
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • Parsley/ Cilantro for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Marinate the shrimp with the spices and a tablespoon of lemon juice and set aside for a15 to 30 minutes
  • Add a knob of butter to a hot pan and gently add your minced garlic and shrimp to the pan.
  • Cook for 5 to 7 minutes on medium to high heat on each side or until golden brown like in this picture.
  • Do a taste test and serve with a garnish of cilantro/ parsley. You can have it as an appetizer or with a side of rice for a quick and easy meal.
